Matthew G. Martinez

Experience

I've spent nineteen years founding, building and operating businesses. I'm the founder of 5+ businesses, and I've built 12+, scaled 6+ and operated 15+, across consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, distribution, retail, services and highly regulated industries. Company names are withheld; each role is described by what the company does.

How the figures are counted

The four counts overlap, so they're never added together:

  • Founded (5+): started the business from the idea, as founder or co-founder.
  • Built (12+): took a business from launch to a working company with a team, systems and customers.
  • Scaled (6+): grew an established business substantially in size, output or markets.
  • Operated (15+): ran the business as its senior executive, responsible for results.
